I've been a stylist since 1993. I find the art of hair enjoyable and inspiring. Hair is my canvas. I enjoy the whole process from the client consultation to the envisioning of the desired look (feel), through the head massage, and finally the application of my experience to people’s beauty. Curly hair is my speciality.
I spent a number of years in toxic environments in hair salons. I started the Water Lily with every intention of taking toxicity out of my salon, on all levels. I work with OCS, OWAY and ARETE color and product lines, all having a commitment to Organic, low toxicity and professional results. I am pleased to have found companies that care!
I am interested in beauty as authenticity, transparency and art. Embarking on translating our inner selves through outward expression, I believe, should be nourishing, healing and fun.
